What is Qlik?
Qlik was founded in 1993 in Lund, Sweden as QlikTech, and has been headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania since being taken private by Thoma Bravo in 2016. Its analytics product, Qlik Sense, runs on an associative data engine that lets users explore relationships across datasets without predefined drill paths, delivered via Qlik Cloud (SaaS) or a client-managed deployment. Qlik's 2023 acquisition of Talend added Qlik Talend Cloud for data integration, pipelines and data quality alongside the analytics line.
