What is Mimecast?
Mimecast's current product pages describe Advanced Email Security for filtering malicious and unwanted messages and Cloud Archive for retaining and searching email and collaboration content. These are different functions with distinct policies and licensing. Neither makes a mailbox inherently immune to phishing or establishes an organization's legal retention schedule.
