What is Fly.io?
Fly.io documentation describes Fly Machines as controllable virtual machines with lifecycle, resource, and region settings available through API or flyctl. Fly Launch offers an application-level deployment path. Fly Volumes are local persistent storage mounted to Machines, so a stateful design must account for placement and recovery.
